The cottage has been lovingly and sympathetically created out of a 200 year old barn, built of local stone, and retaining many original features.

Windmill is just two miles from the historic village of Tideswell, with its beautiful church known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak'. It is also close to Hope Valley, of which Castleton (just 4 miles away), with its castle and famous limestone caverns, is the most popular attraction.
